Base Titanium’s Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) policy is the foundation on which our safety culture and systems are built and forms a key area of accountability. With international best practice as our minimum standard, we believe that no business comes before safety. Safety performance is measured by both lead and lag indicators. Inspections, hazard reports, corrective action closures are some of the lead indicators measured; injury frequency rates are some of the lag indicators. By focusing on lead or positive indicators, the frequency of lag indicators diminishes.
